This Exercise Submission has passed!

Exercises are a great way to test what you've learned given certain restraints, while getting feedback from your peers. Plus, they're a lot of fun!

After many tweaks, here I go again !

Nicely done! If you've gone from coffee cup to this in two weeks, you're taking off like a rocket 🚀

It definitely passes, but there are a few things I think could be improved.

The junction at the end of the tail is a bit awkward - I would recommend chopping off the top two face loops and just filling in the tip where the outer face loop takes a turn.

Try also playing around with the thickness of the neck and legs, since they feel a little out of proportion.

To answer your questions, it's supposed to be under 7K before subsurf, but if you turned on subsurf it would be really hard to grade, so I'd like to see it without. Decimating the model would totally destroy the topology, so that's not really an option either. If you wanted to do high poly you could try sculpting it and then baking the normals, but that's a topic for another day.

Overall, good work. Keep it up!
