Prepping models for texturing
We’ve already covered modeling weapons for a first person shooter, so the next step to making them game-ready is texturing!
In this course, we’ll take a look at how Blender and Substance Painter can work together to create awesome looking textures that will work well in Unity. You’ll learn the whole workflow including exploding your geometry, baking in both Blender and Substance, using smart materials, working with masks and paint effects to edit completely non-destructively, exporting the results to Unity, and a whole lot more.
