Art & Fear (book plug)

Interesting quote from an interesting book. (Largely about how to not quit.)

Making art provides uncomfortably accurate feedback about the gap that inevitably exists between what you intended to do, and what you did.
~~ David Bayles and Ted Orland, Art & Fear (Image Continuum, 1993), 4.

  • ¬†Certainly truth. The first time I got feedback from someone, was when I tried to made some muck-ups, which was intended to be sold. I asked to a teacher here if the images I rendered were good enought, but happend that materials wasn't good enought. But that's good, because now im learning how to make realistic materials.
