back Desert Bot BC-8084

Hi Everyone,

My picture depicts a robot (known as a Desert Bot, model BC-8084) that have been in battle for many decades protecting a power source hidden deep within the hot scorching desert.

Hope that you like it as much as I have enjoyed making it.

Positive as well as negative criticisms are most welcome.

Thank you.

Love the menacing glow in the seams and around the gun muzzle! Beautifully menacing!

ddvorakguest I am planning on rigging it myself to amplify my rigging skills. Thank you for taking interest though and good luck with your course!

bbc_griffin Maybe once I finish the Short Film Production course I might like to try and rig it if you would let me.

    Hi,

Thank you so much for your feedback, all is noted. Not sure if this site displays the exact date when this project was uploaded as it is quite old. I still receive so much love on this and "Logan", and for that reason I am so grateful. I must admit, that have improved a lot since then, regarding texturing and shading especially now that the principled shader is going to be available soon.

    Again thank you so much!

    Kind Regards,

    Bennie

i like the design. i also like the texture around the "abs" like magma, on either side of them though is the only texture that wasnt as maybe recognizable. like i couldnt tell what you were going for and you can thank the prior critique for me even scrutinizing it. my first impression though was thats mother-effing cool!... inspiring

    Hi,

Yes, I absolutely agree with you on the texture part. Thank you for your feedback.

    Kind Regards,

Awesome design. I feel like the texturing could use a little more realism, like nicks around the edges. It all looks a bit too consistent.
